Our Journey to Compassionate Senior Care
Since 2009, we have been creating a home where elderly individuals can preserve their dignity, autonomy, and joy for life. Learn more about our mission and values.
Back to HomepageOur Story
serenistygars was founded in 2009 with a vision to offer seniors an alternative to impersonal care facilities. As a former nursing professional, our founder Maria Huber recognised the need for a more personal, family-oriented form of care.
What began as a small care home in Zurich has grown into a respected institution that now provides a warm, safe home for over 50 seniors. Our success is built on the principle that every person has individual needs and should be cared for accordingly.
Today, we continue this tradition with an experienced team that works daily to maintain quality of life and strengthen family connections. Our care home has become a place where both residents and their families find trust and security.
Our Mission and Values
We believe that ageing with dignity should take place in an environment that promotes respect, individuality, and human connection.
Compassionate Care
Each resident receives individual attention and care tailored to their personal needs and preferences. We listen and understand.
Family-like Community
Our care home is more than a facility – it's a community where genuine relationships are built and nurtured.
Trust and Safety
Families can rest assured that their loved ones are living in a safe, professionally managed environment that meets the highest standards.
Our Guiding Principle
serenistygars stands for senior care that goes beyond basic nursing. We create a living space where elderly people can express their personality, maintain social connections, and lead a fulfilling life. Our multidisciplinary team works hand-in-hand with families to develop individual care plans that combine medical care with social support. In doing so, we respect cultural differences and consider personal life stories in our daily work.
Quality Standards and Safety Protocols
Our high standards in senior care are based on proven protocols and continuous training for our team.
